SUMMARY:
Signa Opportunity is recruiting unemployed youth for quality workplace experience through the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative.
About the YES Initiative
The initiative was launched by the President in 2018 and is a partnership with the government and labour department to collectively devise a national plan to build economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by creating workplace opportunities for South African youth over 12 months.

Position: Food Assistant

Stipend: R5500 Pm

Location: Gauteng (Soweto)

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities

Clean kitchen utensils and equipment

Greet customers and make them feel welcomed.
Take orders and serve food and beverage orders in a timely manner.
Ensure that all food served is of high quality and meets restaurant standards.
Clean tables, chairs, and counters after each customer leaves.
Stock food and beverage items as needed.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and kitchen.
Follow health and safety protocols as outlined by the restaurant.
Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.

Requirements:

South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
Must not have participated on the YES Programme before.
Quality Oriented.
Attention to detail.
No Experience required.
Strong Communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
