Floor Supervisor - Cold Storage

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client operating in the Cold Storage industry and based in Germiston is seeking a Floor Supervisor.
  • The Floor Supervisor has general responsibility of co-coordinating and supervising the end to end warehouse activities on a day to day basis
  • Under the direction of the Warehouse Operations Manager, the Floor Supervisor is responsible for supervising the receiving, warehousing, and dispatching of products in a manner consistent with the company service and cost objectives in line with the relevant standard operating procedures
  • The floor supervisor is the direct operation link into the Rooms Operations Manager and works closely downstream with the Room`s system operator where appropriate

Minimum Requirements
  • High school certification
  • 1 Year of direct experience in a similar position. 
  • Good understanding of modern warehousing and complete understanding of accurate inventory keeping.
