SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Floor Sales Assistant (Plumbing / Pumps) for a permanent position based near Gonubie in East London, Eastern Cape

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Not compulsory but knowledge of booster pumps and specs of borehole pumps will count in your favor and salary with commission will be adjusted accordingly.

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Matric with knowledge in terms of rain harvesting & plumbing items.
2+ years’ experience as a sales assistant in a pumps / plumbing type environment
Must be computer literate (MS Office)
Must be able to multi task and work under pressure
Good problem-solving skills
Must be able to take initiative and work unsupervised
Good customer service skills and communication ability in English
Clear criminal record & contactable references
Own Transport

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

Sales assistance to customers – both walk in and telephonic
Sales of plumbing items, fittings, valves & pumps
Stock control function in store
General admin duties as required

Salary: R15 000.00 per month CTC
Starting date: Immediately
