POSITION INFO:
The Opportunity

This position allows you to step up and run a vibrant front-of-house floor. You will guide your team daily to deliver outstanding guest experiences and fast service. You will enjoy solid management backing while building valuable operational and leadership management skills.

Job Description

• Oversee daily front-of-house operations to ensure friendly, efficient guest service.
• Run daily team briefings to share menu targets and daily focus areas.
• Greet arriving guests and seat tables quickly during peak business hours.
• Monitor order tickets and coordinate with the kitchen to prevent delays.
• Resolve customer questions and complaints on the floor with confidence and care.
• Manage floor stock levels including packaging, condiments, and retail coffee beans.
• Complete end-of-day shift sign-offs, till balances, and safe cash-ups.

• Grade 12 Senior Certificate (Matric).
• Minimum 2 years of experience supervising floors in high-volume hospitality venues.
• Working familiarity with busy cafe rhythms and specialty coffee culture.
• Hands-on experience operating modern hospitality POS systems and card machines.
• Reliable cash-handling skills with experience balancing daily end-of-shift floats.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills and natural poise during busy peak times.
• A helpful, positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a reliable team mindset.
