POSITION INFO:
The Opportunity

This role lets you take charge of daily floor operations and lead an energetic service team. You will use your customer service skills to keep table service smooth, friendly, and fast. With hands-on support from management, you can build your leadership skills in a bustling environment.

Job Description

• Supervise daily floor service during morning, lunch, and busy weekend rushes.
• Welcome guests warmly and handle any seating or service requests promptly.
• Brief and guide waitrons and baristas before every busy shift.
• Oversee table turn times, food delivery speed, and order accuracy.
• Keep the dining floor spotless, beautifully presented, and well-organised.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to keep orders running smoothly.
• Handle point-of-sale operations, bill settlements, and daily shift cash reconciliations.

• Grade 12 Senior Certificate (Matric).
• At least 2 years of front-of-house supervisory experience in busy cafes or restaurants.
• Good knowledge of coffee shop service and fast-paced casual dining.
• Solid practical experience using modern restaurant POS touch-screen systems.
• Proven ability to count floats accurately and balance daily cash drawers.
• Clear, polite communication skills and a confident presence on the floor.
• A positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and strong team-player energy.
