Fleet Controller (Denver, JHB)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

ØDaily planning, routing and scheduling of vehicles

ØEnsure all activities regarding long distance operations are executed

ØOn-route control & monitoring

ØDiesel control and fuel consumption management

ØAssisting in the recruitment of quality drivers into the fleet

ØScheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency

ØMaintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection

ØEnsure all vehicles in the fleet are properly maintained; registered; licensed; and compliant with legal regulations

ØEnsure that all collections and deliveries are managed in an efficient and speedy manner

ØRemain in constant communication with drivers and clients

ØEnsuring that customer / client relationships are maintained to the highest satisfaction

ØAttend to general administration and documentation management on a daily basis

ØStaff Management

ØEnsure that all staff members adhere to the Company policies and procedures

ØTake disciplinary action for non-conformances and breaches of discipline

ØReport, monitor and manage all accidents and incidents

Requirements:

ØGrade 12

ØNational Diploma in Transport Management a Bonus

Ø4 + Years Fleet Controller Experience

ØEnglish speaking
