SUMMARY:
Secure an opportunity within an animal feed manufacturing giant in South Africa looking for a Fitter to join their plant for a renewable contract position

POSITION INFO:

PRE-REQUISITES

• Matric ( Grade  12)   
• Fitter / Turner Trade Test 
• 5-7 years post trade experience is a must
• Must have feed mill machinery experience (Pellet machines, grinders, chain conveyor, fat coater etc.) None negotiable
• Examine detailed drawings to find out job, material and equipment requirements
• Set up and adjust machinery for ensuring optimal production.
• Preventative maintenance mindset is essential and must contribute to ensuring line availability
• Ensure job cards are closed properly and reoccurring breakdown illuminated
• Ensure mechanical equipment is complying with safety requirements.
• Apply good housekeeping standards
• Oversee Boiler & Compressors on site
