Fishing Guide (Skipper’s License Required)

SUMMARY:
A lodge is seeking a dedicated and experienced Fishing Guide to join their team. This unique role combines guiding guests on river and tiger fishing adventures with supporting hospitality operations when required. It is ideal for someone passionate about fishing, nature, and delivering excellent guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead guided tiger fishing tours on rivers, ensuring guests have a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience.
• Apply sustainable fishing practices, including catch-and-release, while educating guests on responsible fishing.
• Assist with hospitality duties as needed, including bar service, front-of-house tasks, and general guest support.
• Maintain and care for all fishing equipment and boats, ensuring safety and readiness for tours.
• Work collaboratively with the lodge team to create a seamless experience for all visitors.
• Provide high levels of customer service, addressing guest queries and ensuring satisfaction throughout their stay.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Valid Skipper’s License for inland waters and river systems (Required)
• Proven experience in tiger fishing and guiding fishing tours (Advantageous) 
• Flexibility and willingness to assist in other lodge operations, including hospitality tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests.
• A proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude.
