A fast-growing managed IT services provider is seeking a proactive and customer-focused First Line IT Technician to join their dynamic support team!

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact for IT support (phone, email, tickets).
Provide guidance on IT policies and best practices.
Deliver professional, customer-focused support.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
Escalate complex issues when necessary.
Set up and configure user devices and peripherals.
Perform routine system maintenance and updates.
Support Microsoft 365, Windows, and basic networking (security-first).
Accurately log and track tickets and resolutions.
Ensure compliance with data security standards (POPIA & GDPR).

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Experience in a 1st Line IT Support role.
Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory.
Familiar with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Able to work independently and in a team.
Customer-focused and proactive.
Committed to continuous learning.
Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi).
