Finishing Supervisor (Automotive Foundry Industry)

SUMMARY:
We are recruitin a Finishing Supervisor to lead a production team, ensure daily schedules and quality standards are met, drive continuous improvement, and uphold health, safety, and compliance standards

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure finishing schedules and delivery requirements are met to quality standards.

• Lead, motivate, and develop the finishing team to achieve output, quality, and productivity targets.

• Manage machine maintenance with Maintenance Dept. support.

• Provide coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job training for operators.

• Drive continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and housekeeping standards.

Authority:

• Direct team members and enforce company requirements.

• Hold production on non-conformance and initiate corrective actions.

• Implement productivity and process improvements within scope.

Requirements:

• Matric or equivalent qualification.

• 2–3 years supervisory experience in production/manufacturing.

• Automotive Foundry Industry experience

• Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.

• Knowledge of finishing/production processes, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

• Ability to manage IR, attendance, and performance issues.
