Finishing Foreman
POSITION INFO:
A leading building contractor based in the Western Cape is looking for a Finishing Building Foreman to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing high-end finishing works on both commercial and residential building projects in the Stellenbosch area.
ð Location: Stellenbosch
ð Start Date: ASAP
ð¼ Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
ð§ Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all finishing trades (e.g. carpentry, tiling, painting, ceilings, joinery, etc.)
- Manage day-to-day site activities to ensure work is completed on time and to the highest quality standards
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, architects and the site team
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
- Conduct quality checks and snag lists
- Report progress and issues to the Contracts Manager

Requirements: - Minimum 8–10 years of experience in finishing work on upmarket projects
- Proven track record managing teams on site
- Strong eye for detail and high-quality workmanship
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s licence and own transport
