Financial Supervisor - Petrol Stations background

SUMMARY:
Our client - a well-established retail filling station group - is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Supervisor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial controls, reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and supporting operational efficiency within the business.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• A financial Diploma or Degree + SAIPA or similar
• 3–5 years’ finance/accounting experience
• Previous experience in:
  • Retail environment
  • Filling station/Petrol station operations
  • FMCG or fuel industry (advantageous)
• Strong knowledge of VAT and PAYE
• Cashflow management
• Stock reconciliations
• Financial reporting
• Proficient in:
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Accounting systems (Sage)
  • Understanding of fuel stock systems and daily sales reconciliation
