SUMMARY:
- Process EFT payment requisitions using the university ERP system. - Process daily payment batches

POSITION INFO:

CORE PURPOSE OF JOB

To process Ad-Hoc payment requisitions, payment batches and retain supporting documents for audit purposes.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Process EFT payment requisitions using the university ERP system.
Process daily payment batches
Attend to queries regarding the above
Document control for audit and archiving purposes.
Follow up advance payments

CORE COMPETENCIES

Ability to accurately process large volumes of transactions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Intermediate Excel skills.
Proven ability to adhere to deadlines
Numerical accuracy
Ability to function within a team.
Ability to work without constant supervision

REQUIREMENTS

Matric with Accounting
3 Years’ experience in the use of an ERP system in a large organization.
Experience in a Higher Education environment will be advantage.
