SUMMARY:
Own the full finance function and drive operational excellence!

POSITION INFO:
My client is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Manager to take responsibility for the company’s financial function from start to finish.

This role requires a hands-on finance professional who can manage daily operations, ensure compliance, and provide valuable financial insights to support business growth.

This role is based in Randburg, Johannesburg North.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the end-to-end financial function, from transaction processing to reporting.
Capture supplier invoices and generate accurate customer invoices.
Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts.
Complete bank reconciliations and manage cashbook entries.
Analyse performance against budgets and manage daily/monthly cash flows.
Prepare and submit statutory returns (e.g., VAT).
Liaise with external auditors and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
Prepare Annual Financial Statements and operational budgets.
Manage fleet cards and vehicle licensing requirements.
Provide financial support and reporting as required by the Group CFO and MD.
Willingness to travel within South Africa when required.

Requirements:

A relevant degree or qualification in Finance or Accounting.
Proven experience managing the full financial function.
Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and statutory compliance.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively at all levels.
