POSITION INFO:
Financial Manager – Financial Services

Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to oversee the full finance function across multiple local and offshore entities. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical accounting expertise, ownership of month-end reporting, statutory compliance, audit management, and continuous improvement of finance systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full month-end close, including journals, reconciliations, accruals, IFRS 16, fixed assets, payroll, transfer pricing, and management reporting.
Oversee tax and statutory submissions, including VAT, income tax, dividend withholding tax, and securities transfer tax.
Manage intercompany accounting, loan accounts, and transfer pricing across local and international entities.
Lead the annual audit process, prepare financial statements, and liaise with external auditors.
Oversee daily finance operations, banking, payments, and financial controls.
Drive finance projects, process improvements, automation, and reporting enhancements.

Requirements:

Honours degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience.
Proven experience managing month-end, audits, tax, and multiple entities.
Advanced Excel skills and strong financial systems experience.
Financial services or stockbroking experience is highly advantageous.
Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
