SUMMARY:
Based in Stanger providing financial support for various divisions and business units; cost monitoring, reviews, cash flow and monthly reporting. Production of annual budgets, half yearly forecasts, managing monthly cost controlling & reporting cycle

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Main Duties include:

-Ensure cash flow and profitability forecasts are in line with the projected budget

-Review the General Ledger reporting

-Monthly consolidation and related reporting

-Assist Business unit/s management with monthly closing, annual budget and quarterly forecasts

-Track new business and forecasting, opportunities and risk

-Tracking and reporting on Capital Expenditure commitments vs budgets and forecasts.

-Optimization of financial systems

-Ensure adherence to financial policies, regulations and statutory law.

Criteria:

-Degree or Diploma/ B. Tech Cost Accounting or Management Accounting essential

-2-3 years relevant experience preferably within a project accounting environment

-Extensive knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cash flow and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

-Extensive knowledge of JD Edwards automated financial and accounting reporting system

-Ability to train users (project managers and cost controllers)
