A well-established and growing organisation within the technology and business solutions space is looking for a commercially minded Financial Controller to join its finance team. The business operates in a dynamic environment where strong financial governance, accurate reporting and effective financial controls are key to supporting continued growth.

This is an opportunity for a qualified finance professional to take ownership of key financial processes while working closely with management and contributing to the overall financial performance of the business.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

BCom degree or equivalent
Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles
2–3 years post-articles experience
Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting
Experience with management accounts and financial controls
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly management accounts
Maintain and strengthen financial controls across the business
Oversee reconciliations, journals and general ledger activities
Assist with month-end and year-end reporting
Monitor financial processes and identify areas for improvement
Analyse financial information and provide meaningful insights to management
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal procedures
Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial information
