Are you a detail-driven finance professional with a passion for manufacturing? An international player in the automotive sector is looking for a Financial Controller to join their Krugersdorp plant. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

POSITION INFO:

This is your chance to step into a pivotal role within a global organization that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. As Financial Controller, you’ll take ownership of plant-level reporting, compliance, and strategic analysis while partnering with leadership to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial efficiency.

This is more than just reporting numbers. It’s about influencing decisions, improving processes, and shaping the financial future of a dynamic automotive manufacturing business.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports.
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control processes at plant level.
Evaluate financial performance, identify cost-reduction opportunities, and recommend improvements.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, SOX, and local regulations.
Manage month-end and year-end closures, reconciliations, and audits.
Partner with management to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or studying towards).
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a multinational manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
Exposure to SAP and financial reporting systems (advantageous).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
A collaborative, open-minded approach with the ability to work across functions.
