We're Hiring: A Financial Controller within Centurion.

POSITION INFO:
Are you a newly qualified CA(SA) with a sharp eye for detail, a strategic mindset, and a passion for making numbers work for the bigger picture? If you're ready to take the next step in your career and lead a high-performing finance team, then this opportunity is for you. Our client, a well-established and growing player in the development services sector, is looking for a dynamic Financial Controller to join their team in Centurion. You’ll be stepping into a pivotal role that combines technical excellence, team leadership, and strategic influence.

Duties:

Lead and develop a dedicated team of Junior and Intermediate Accountants
Oversee the full financial function, including month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Work closely with senior leadership to support business planning and performance monitoring
Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and internal controls
Coordinate and manage annual audits with External Auditors
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
Translate financial insights into strategic actions for continued growth

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:
- Newly qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA))
Experience:
- Auditing background, ideally with exposure to the development services, construction, or engineering industries
