JOB DESCRIPTION:

Financial Clerk’s responsibilities:

Processing bills, checks, receipts and other documents.
Establishing all documents are properly signed and distributed.
Verifying financial and other data (e.g., tax identification numbers).
Monitoring financial transactions.
Data entry and maintain updated records.
Assisting with account reconciliations.
Communicating with vendors, customers and colleagues.
Presenting the status of accounts and discrepancies.

Requirements

Relevant diploma or equivalent in Finance Clerk.
Relevant experience as a Finance Clerk.
Knowledge of bookkeeping and financial transactions.
Familiarity with financial regulations, i.e. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Knowledge of MS Office, Excel and databases.
Pay attention to detail.
Organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Reliability and strong work ethics.
Ability to solve problems.
