POSITION INFO:
This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who wants to gain hands-on exposure to franchise operations, financial analysis, business performance reviews, and strategic decision-making.

Working closely with the Financial Analyst, you'll help turn financial data into meaningful business insights, support franchise reviews, and play a key role in monitoring performance across a national franchise network.

What You'll Be Getting Stuck Into:

• Assisting with the planning and scheduling of annual franchise business reviews
• Supporting the completion of franchise performance and operational reviews
• Preparing and maintaining templates, reports, and review documentation
• Analysing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
• Reviewing franchise financial data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for growth
• Benchmarking franchise performance against key metrics and industry standards
• Identifying potential cost-saving opportunities and revenue leakages
• Preparing financial analysis and insights for business review meetings
• Calculating financial ratios and supporting performance assessments
• Assisting with business valuations and financial modelling
• Reviewing financial controls and highlighting potential risk areas
• Monitoring compliance with franchise and shareholder agreements
• Coordinating annual franchise compliance declarations
• Contributing to monthly reports presented to Exco
• Assisting with ad hoc projects and analysis as required

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Financial Analyst or Financial Accountant role
• CA(SA), Professional Accountant (SA), CIMA, or similar professional qualification preferred
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and a genuine appreciation for spreadsheets)
• SAICA or SAIPA registration advantageous
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work with large volumes of financial data and translate numbers into meaningful insights
