Financial Advisor

Use your previous experience in Business Developmelopment , Private Banking or Portfolio Management, Wealth Management, Financial Planner to secure this position.

A organization that is a formidable player in the insurance market is looking for a suitable candidate to take up a position of a Financial Advisor( Life, Long Term and Investment products) office in Stellenbosch.

This position is within the Face to Face Distribution Channel.

The key responsibility is to grow and develop the long term insurance portfolio.

Qualification and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years long term insurance face to face sales experience / 3 years long term insurance call centre experience.

• Completed Matric or National Senior Certificate
• FAIS credits/Full Insurance Qualifications (depending on DOFA)
• RE5 (depending on DOFA)
• Must have your own reliable transport
• Valid code B driver’s license
• Clear criminal and credit record

Responsibilities:

• Build your own insurance portfolio by prospecting for new clients through networking, Cold calling and door – door canvasing for new business and ensuring good pipeline of business.
• Conduct a comprehensive risk evaluation for the client and provide sound financial. advice to clients .
• Retention of existing business including renewal
• Providing feedback to line management when requested
• Attending all weekly and adhoc team meetings

Remuneration:

• Salary Range : R 23 106 - R40 000 , plus commission, plus travel allowance , plus cell phone allowance , plus a laptop with 3G.
• Medical Aid and Pension Fund.
