Our client, a well-established logistics company based in Nelspruit, is seeking to appoint a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Process invoices, statements and reconciliations accurately and timeously, including freight and carrier invoices
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Match delivery notes, waybills and PODs (proof of delivery) to supplier and customer invoices
• Assist with monthly financial reporting and general ledger maintenance
• Prepare and process journal entries
• Perform bank, creditor and fleet/fuel cost reconciliations
• Maintain accurate and organised financial records and filing systems
• Assist with budgeting and expense tracking, including vehicle and warehousing costs
• Liaise with suppliers, transporters, clients and internal departments regarding financial queries
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc administrative and reporting tasks

Requirements

• Grade 12 with a relevant financial/bookkeeping qualification
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar financial administration role, logistics or transport sector experience advantageous
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software (e.g. Pastel, Sage)
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Stable work history with contactable references
