SUMMARY:
Position available for an energetic professional who is experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and related tasks and able to work independently, work under pressure with little or no supervision. Well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people.

Minimum Requirements:

Proven office administrative skills – Reports, Office admin, Personnel files, Printing. Problem solving skills,
Excellent written and Telephone communication skills, Taking of messages and supply of feedback.
Handling of all requests via phone and emails of client and schedules. Capturing of data. Strong planning skills schedule of client projects , daily planning
Proficient in MS Office - Computer skills and knowledge of office software packages Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Excel , PowerPoint
SAGE. Knowledge of business
Driver’s License essential

Responsibilities:
Financial duties in Creditors, Debtors and Cash Book. As listed below:
Creditors Clerk
Performance responsibility:

Verifying the correctness of all creditor-related documents
Checking the accuracy of all remittance advises
The authorization and payment of invoices
Identification of errors and unusual items
Processing of new supplier accounts
Administration of branch supplier contracts
Handling branch/supplier queries and requests
Managing / checking / tracking of journals
Follow-up of invoices / statements not received
Reconciling remittances and invoices / statements
Administrative tasks
The follow-through and follow-up of payments
Follow-up of invoices not received
Maintenance and up-keeping of supplier details

Debtors Clerk
Performance responsibility:

Organized and disciplined approach to daily accounting tasks and administration
Ability to consistently meet deadlines, function well under pressure and to manage own time and outputs
Supervision of accounts to ensure that they are timeously and accurately updated
Monitoring of movements and the investigation of all unusual items’
Receipting daily banking and to ensure that all branch receipts are completely and accurately banked
Investigation and resolution of all queries and differences
The raising and capturing of journal entries to clear reconciling items on reconciliations
Regular control checks

Cash Book
Performance responsibility:

Capturing of Quotation , Invoice Remittance Advise on SAGE
Ensuring supplier invoices for payment are correct.
