POSITION INFO:

Company and Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Financial Accountant CA(SA) to support key finance functions across reporting, compliance, governance, and process improvement initiatives. This role is ideally suited to a newly qualified CA(SA) or finance professional with completed articles who is looking to gain meaningful exposure within a high-performance finance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and month-end processes
Assist with audit, tax, and statutory compliance activities
Prepare reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes
Assist in improving finance processes and strengthening internal controls
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Support governance and regulatory compliance requirements
Participate in finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Qualification:

CA(SA), CIMA, or equivalent finance qualification
Completed articles highly advantageous

Experience:

Minimum 0-2 years' post-articles experience
Audit background preferred
Exposure to financial reporting and compliance environments

Skills:

Strong academic track record
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong attention to detail
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
