POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate reconciliations, approvals, collections, and financial oversight
Provide guidance and support to finance team members, ensuring efficient processing and adherence to internal controls
Administer payroll-related accounting activities and oversee statutory submissions in accordance with regulatory requirements
Prepare and process month-end journals, including provisions, accruals, and payroll-related adjustments
Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards
Compile monthly management reports, financial summaries, and performance reporting packs for leadership
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, capital expenditure tracking, and financial performance analysis
Oversee banking activities, cash flow management, and treasury-related responsibilities
Coordinate audit requirements and support the maintenance of effective financial governance frameworks
Ensure adherence to accounting standards, taxation requirements, and statutory reporting obligations
Work closely with operational departments and business leaders to provide financial insight and resolve queries
Promote a high-performing finance environment focused on accountability, accuracy, and process enhancement

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years' of experience in a financial accounting or reporting-focused role
Previous exposure to FMCG, manufacturing, or product-driven businesses would be advantageous
Strong understanding of financial reporting principles, reconciliations, and month-end processes

Qualification:

BCom Accounting, Finance, or equivalent tertiary qualification
Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
CA(SA), AGA(SA), SAIPA, CIMA, or other relevant professional designation advantageous
