You'll join an established organisation operating within the mining sector, supporting large-scale projects in a technically demanding environment. The business has a strong reputation for delivering complex work across multiple operations, creating a dynamic and commercially focused setting for finance professionals.

For a Financial Accountant, this means exposure to project-based finance, operational cost management, and close collaboration with experienced technical and operational teams. It's an opportunity to broaden your commercial understanding while building on your Financial Accounting expertise within a specialised mining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Take ownership of monthly accounting and financial reporting activities
Review financial results and investigate key movements and variances
Maintain accurate general ledger records and complete detailed reconciliations
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
Support statutory reporting, annual financial statements, and audit processes
Provide financial information and analysis to assist operational decision-making

Job Experience and Skills Required:

BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential)
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Financial Accounting environment
Mining industry experience (essential)
Strong ERP systems exposure and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
