POSITION INFO:
Our client is a fast-growing business in the internet and technology space, where innovation, agility and commercial thinking are at the heart of what they do. As the business continues to expand, they are looking for a Financial Accountant who can take ownership of the finance function while partnering with management to support the wider business.
This is an opportunity for a hands-on, commercially minded finance professional who enjoys variety, thrives in a high-volume environment and wants more than a routine accounting role. You’ll have visibility across the business, exposure to management and the opportunity to influence processes, reporting and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Take ownership of the full finance function, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all accounting activities
Drive month-end and year-end reporting and ensure deadlines are consistently achieved
Prepare meaningful financial and management reports to support business decision-making
Oversee general ledger activities, journals, reconciliations and financial controls

Job Experience and Skills Required:
BCom Accounting / Finance or relevant accounting qualification
Approximately 10 years' accounting experience preferred
Strong full-function accounting experience
