POSITION INFO:

Join a well-established organisation based in Gauteng, committed to supporting business growth and economic development through innovative financial solutions. This role is ideal for a technically strong individual who thrives in a structured environment and enjoys balancing reporting, controls, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and process month-end journals and reporting schedules
Prepare and review monthly financial results and management reports
Perform and review account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items
Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts
Assist with the annual budgeting process
Liaise with external auditors and assist with the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
Process payments and support financial operations
Contribute to improving financial reporting and internal control processes
Monitor and assist with tax administration and compliance matters
Assist with ad-hoc finance projects and reporting requirements

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:

BCom Accounting Honours (essential)

Experience:

2–4 years’ experience in a Financial Accountant

Skills:

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
SAP experience advantageous

Qualifications Advantageous:

AGA(SA) or CIMA accreditation
