SUMMARY:
Are you a Financial Accountant with strong tax and IFRS experience looking to grow within a structured environment? An opportunity based in the Free State is available for a finance professional who enjoys working across the full finance function.

POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description:
This role is suited to a hands-on accountant who is comfortable managing financial reporting, compliance, and day-to-day finance activities. You will be involved in ensuring accurate reporting, maintaining financial records, and supporting the broader finance function within an operational environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare financial reports and management accounts
Ensure compliance with IFRS and tax requirements
Perform general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
Work across the full finance function
Support month-end and year-end processes
Assist with financial controls and reporting accuracy

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:
BCom Accounting
Experience:
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in financial accounting
Exposure to operational or commercial environments
Industry exposure to agriculture advantageous
Skills:
Strong understanding of IFRS and tax
Full finance function experience
Attention to detail and analytical ability
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a structured environment
