Job & Company Description:
A reputable organisation within the logistics industry is seeking to appoint a Financial Accountant to join their finance team based in Edenvale. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the full finance function within a dynamic and operational environment.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a BCom-qualified professional who has completed SAICA articles and gained 3–4 years of post-article experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong personality, thrive in a hands-on role, and be confident managing the full finance function.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting the operational needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full finance function, including reporting and compliance
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements
Perform reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Ensure compliance with statutory and tax requirements
Maintain and improve financial controls and processes
Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors
Provide financial insights to support operational decision-making

Job Experience & Qualifications:

BCom degree (minimum requirement)
Completed SAICA articles
3–4 years’ post-articles experience in a finance role
Proven experience managing the full finance function
Strong financial reporting and reconciliation experience
Strong personality with the ability to operate in a hands-on environment
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
