Our client, a respected and growing company within the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a Permanent Financial Accountant to join their team based in Pretoria East. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, hands-on professional who thrives on accuracy, structure, and leadership within the finance function.

POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description:
The pharmaceutical industry demands precision, compliance, and financial excellence. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring financial integrity while supporting operational efficiency. This role offers a permanent, stable position within a reputable industry, exposure to a dynamic, compliance-driven environment and an opportunity to oversee and guide finance support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Full financial accounting function up to trial balance
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Overseeing the Debtors and/or Creditors Clerk(s)
Reviewing reconciliations and ensuring accuracy of transactions
Managing cash flow and supplier payments

Job Experience and Skills Required:).

Has recently completed SAIPA articles
Accounting Degree or similar qualification
Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or in a similar role
Exposure to managing or supervising a Debtors Clerk, Creditors Clerk, or both
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
