POSITION INFO:
Our client is a well-established, high-volume automotive operation based in Pretoria, recognised for strong financial governance, operational excellence, and a performance-driven culture. The business offers a structured finance environment with clear growth pathways and exposure across the full accounting and operational finance lifecycle.

This Financial Accountant role sits at the core of the finance function, bridging transactional finance and financial management. You’ll take ownership of key accounting processes, support financial reporting, and work closely with operational teams to drive financial accuracy, control, and performance across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full control of debtors and creditors functions
• Asset register management and depreciation
• Liability management and balance sheet integrity
• Inventory control, valuation, and reconciliation
• General ledger management and month-end close
• Financial reporting and management accounts support
• Compliance, controls, and process improvement
• System management on Evolve or similar dealer management platforms
• Operational finance support within the motor industry environment

• Degree in Accounting / Finance
• Proven experience in a Financial Accountant / Senior Accounts role
• Strong understanding of debtors, creditors, assets, liabilities, and inventory
• Experience within the motor industry 
• Exposure to Evolve or similar dealer management systems (advantageous)
• Strong reconciliation, reporting, and analytical skills
• Commercial mindset with operational finance understanding
• High attention to detail with strong accountability
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
