POSITION INFO:
Job & Company Description:
A leading organisation within the services sector is seeking a capable and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join their finance team based in JHB North. This role is ideally suited to a BCom graduate who has completed articles and gained at least one year of post-article experience.

The successful candidate will be exposed to full financial functions and will play an integral role in supporting accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational decision-making within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform the full financial function, including month-end and year-end processes
Draft Annual Financial Statements in line with IFRS
Prepare and review tax calculations and submissions
Manage and maintain BBBEE reporting and compliance
Ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation
Support audits and liaise with external auditors
Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies

Job Experience & Qualifications:

BCom degree (essential)
Completed Articles (SAICA / SAIPA)
Minimum of 1 year post-article experience
Experience drafting Annual Financial Statements (essential)
Exposure to tax and BBBEE reporting
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
