POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description:
Our client, a multinational leader is on the hunt for a Financial Accountant who’s not just a number cruncher, but a strategic thinker with a passion for precision and process. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of their financial records as well as support strategic decision-making with insights that help shape the future of their operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and reconcile the general ledger with meticulous attention to detail.
Manage fixed asset registers, depreciation, and capex tracking.
Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
Assist in month-end and year-end closings, audits, and financial reporting.
Prepare accurate and compliant financial statements and reports.
Work cross-functionally with procurement, operations, and finance teams.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

A completed BCom degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Completion of SAIPA or SAICA articles (advantageous, not mandatory).
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a full-spectrum accounting role.
Solid knowledge of general ledger, AP, AR, and fixed assets.
