SUMMARY:
Are you a finance professional with a strong grasp of production costing and a passion for operational excellence? A well-established company in the retail and manufacturing industry is seeking a Finance Specialist to join their dynamic team. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly impact financial strategy and compliance across the business.

POSITION INFO:
ð¨ Financial Accountant
ð¨ Retail & Manufacturing Sector
Location: Johannesburg East, Kempton Park
Salary: R 500 000 – R 600 000 CTC per annum

ð Key Responsibilities:

ð Compile monthly financial reports and vet supporting schedules (customers, suppliers, and inventory – both local and foreign)
ð Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
ð Maintain inter-company reconciliations
ð° Prepare and submit monthly VAT and tax returns
ð§¾ Run the monthly salary payroll and oversee the weekly wage payroll
ð Manage SARB applications for incoming/outgoing funds via banking channels
ð¸ Plan and monitor cash flow
â Ensure financial compliance with relevant regulations
ð Monitor and strengthen internal financial controls

ð¯ Ideal Candidate Profile:

BCom Degree with articles
Solid experience in production costing within a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical and reporting skills
Ability to manage multiple financial functions with accuracy and efficiency
Experience in retail or manufacturing finance is highly advantageous
