As a Financial Accountant, you’ll be responsible for the accurate preparation and reporting of financial information, playing a vital role in the financial health of the business. This role offers a balance between technical accounting work and valuable business exposure in an exciting, growing industry.
 
Duties:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant tax, statutory, and audit requirements.
• Support year-end audits and liaise with external Auditors.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations.

• Qualifications: 
  • A completed finance or accounting Degree.
  • SAICA or SAIPA articles completed – this is essential.
• Experience:
  • A minimum of 2 years’ post-articles experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role, outside of audit.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
