SUMMARY:

Cookhouse Creamery is seeking a Financial Accountant with manufacturing accounting expertise to lead our finance team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate cost tracking, IFRS-compliant inventory management, and financial compliance in our fast-paced dairy production environment.

• Qualifications:
  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, CIMA, or CA(SA).
  • Manufacturing accounting certification (advantageous).
• Experience:
  
  • 3+ years in manufacturing accounting, preferably in food production or FMCG.
  • Proven track record in cost accounting, inventory management, and IFRS compliance for production environments.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Xero) for manufacturing workflows.
• Skills:
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) for cost modeling.
  • Strong understanding of COGM, COGS, and variance analysis.
  • Clear communication to liaise with production teams and auditors.
