This key role supports both the dealership and customers by arranging vehicle finance and insurance with precision and professionalism, providing expert advice to ensure the best solutions, and selling approved value-added products to maximise gross profit. The F&I Manager is responsible for ensuring full compliance with all Financial Service Board (FSB) requirements, including training, fit & proper, honesty, and integrity standards. POSITION INFO:
Duties include

• Arrange vehicle finance and insurance solutions, explaining finance products, value-added products, and extended warranties to customers.
• Structure and process finance and leasing applications, ensuring prompt approvals and accurate contract completion.
• Secure and finalise finance agreements while ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant, and signed correctly.
• Ensure vehicles are funded and paid for by financial institutions within agreed turnaround times.
• Maximise second gross profit through the sale of approved finance and insurance products.
• Conduct affordability assessments, credit checks, and ensure all transactions comply with legislative requirements.
• Maintain full compliance with FAIS, FSCA, NCA, FICA, CRA, and all applicable industry legislation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, finance houses, and insurance providers.
• Monitor finance applications and proactively manage approvals and outstanding requirements.
• Support and train the dealership sales team on finance and insurance products and processes.
• Monitor departmental performance, penetration rates, and profitability against agreed targets.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while effectively handling customer queries and finance-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate reporting, record keeping, and debtor administration.

• Grade 12 / Matric (essential).
• Relevant tertiary qualification or Credit Management Diploma will be advantageous.
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience as a Finance & Insurance Manager within a franchised motor dealership.
• RE5 Accreditation (essential).
• NQF Level 4 FAIS Retail or Short-Term Insurance Qualification with a minimum of 120 FAIS Credits.
• NCA Accreditation (legislative requirement).
• COB completed.
• CPD hours up to date for all applicable cycles.
• Accredited by an authorised Financial Services Provider (FSP).
• Strong understanding of vehicle finance, insurance products, and dealership operations.
• Excellent knowledge of FAIS, NCA, FICA, CRA, and relevant compliance legislation.
• Proven track record of achieving finance penetration, second gross, and dealership profitability targets.
• Strong negotiation, communication, customer service, and relationship management skills.
• High level of integrity with excellent administrative accuracy and attention to detail.
• Computer literate with experience using Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and digital finance platforms.
• Valid South African driver's licence.
• Clear criminal and credit record.
• Franchised motor dealership experience is essential.
