SUMMARY:
The ideal candidate will assist with the BAU work within the finance operational space, being the reconciliations, month end deliverables as well as data analysis, so that we can create capacity for the current staff to assist with the IFRS17 programme requirements. This is a contractor role for the duration of the project (6 Months)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities

Assist with month end deliverables and the current BAU processes
Perform month end reconciliations to substantiate the Balance Sheet
Perform variance analysis to assess reasonability on the movement in the income statement.
Perform other related tasks as may be identified

Qualifications

Relevant accounting degree

Required experience/skills

Knowledge of SAP systems advantageous
Insurance industry experience advantageous
Good accounting background
Must have good DR & CR accounting knowledge
Must have recon experience
Good at data analysis investigation of accounts and recons resolution.
