SUMMARY:
You will be responsible for validating all local suppliers’ invoices against stock received to initiate monthly payments and ensuring that payments are paid as per agreed payment terms per supplier.

POSITION INFO:

Finance Clerk

We have opportunities in Trade Creditors (Stock that come into stores) and Expense Creditors (Utilities such as water, electricity & telephone bill)

You will be responsible for validating all local suppliers’ invoices against stock received to initiate monthly payments and ensuring that payments are paid as per agreed payment terms per supplier.

Your core function is to ensure timely payment of suppliers and resolution of issues, and working as a business partner with the rest of the company to ensure that quality relationships with suppliers are maintained.

Job Requirements:

· Matric plus solid work experience.

· Understanding of accounts and creditors reconciliation process

· Experience within a team dynamic would be advantageous

· Experience in Oracle Financials preferable

· Retail Industry & creditors experience will be advantageous

Finance Clerk – Banking (South Africa, Africa and OFFICE)

For SA - the primary responsibility is to ensure the reconciliation of all company bank and GL accounts in the stipulated time period. And resolve/report on all resulting discrepancies.

If you are in OFFICE team, the primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the foreign banking operations (UK), banking systems support, and completion of banking month-end processes.

Job Requirements:

· Matric plus solid work experience

· Post-matric qualifications would be advantageous

· Experience in a finance retail environment advantageous

· Knowledge/experience in general finance processes including, inter alia, bank reconciliations, foreign currency translation and conversion, bank card queries, resolving bank discrepancies etc.

· Very strong computer skills: Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word), Oracle Financials, Business Online, new Business Online (Africa) and an appropriate bank reconciliation system
