Finance Administrators: Accounts Payable:

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Public Sector has an EE opportunity available for a Finance Administrator: Accounts Payable to be based in the Pretoria are.  This will be a temporary position for 6 months.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• An appropriate three year tertiary qualification/degree/national diploma (at least 360 credits) (Finance related) with 18 months proven experience in financial accounting
• Exposure in the administration of Accounts Payable or Creditors may receive preference
• Exposure in Asset management may receive preference
• Exposure with regards to financial compliance during audit period may receive preference
• OR
• A Senior Certificate/Grade 12 coupled with 3 years appropriate proven experience in financial accounting
• Exposure in the administration of Accounts Payable or Creditors may receive preference
• Exposure in Asset management may receive preference
• Exposure with regards to financial compliance during audit period may receive preference
• Computer literacy that would include a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience in ACCPAC will serve as an advantage
• Knowledge of General Ledger bookkeeping
• Knowledge of PFMA
• Knowledge of Financial accounting
•  

• Ensure the safekeeping of all transactions, supporting documentation, files and data for audit purposes in accordance with prescripts
• Processing, Verifying and reconciling invoices
• Undertake reconciliation of creditors accounts
• Perform office administrative activities
• File office correspondence, documents and reports
