SUMMARY:
Our client is a multinational customer clearing, freight forwarding and ships agency with offices in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth and Walvis Bay.

POSITION INFO:

They are looking for a FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR to join their Cape Town team for a 6 month contract.

Can you work independently while showing initiative and ensuring work is up to date? Are you meticulous and able to identify problem areas and come up with solutions?

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: PERMANENT

SECTOR: Services

START DATE: IMMEDIATE / A.S.A.P

DUTIES:

• Maintain supplier records & recons

• Archive credit applications & other supplier documents

• Control and maintain discounts

• Identify and address problematic suppliers and elevate to relevant reporting structure, i.e. Team Leader / Supervisor

• Ensure compliance to systems, processes and controls in terms of legislation

• Ensure reports are completed and submitted timeously

• Assist with day-to-day functions (currently manual)

• Ad-hoc duties

REQUIREMENT

• Matric

• National Certificate / Diploma / Advanced Certificate /NATED 4 - 6

• Exposure to Supplier Recons

• Exposure to Shipping / Transport Industry - advantageous

• Good communication skills

• Sound knowledge of Excel
