Finance Administrator, Gqeberha (PE)

SRK Consulting is seeking an ambitious Finance Administrator to join their dynamic team in the Gqeberha office. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacancy. The successful incumbent will report to the Office Manager.

Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Finance Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the finance team with day-to-day administrative tasks. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

POSITION INFO:

Experience and Skills:

The candidate must:

Have Grade 12 (Matric). A Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Finance will be advantageous.
Be proficient in MS Office, specifically with MS Excel spreadsheets.
Have approximately 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
Possess the ability to work in high pressure environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Would include, but not be limited to:

Finance Controller

Oversee all creditor and debtor processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare and issue invoices, maintaining an organised invoicing system.
Manage petty cash transactions, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation.
Address and resolve all accounts-related queries.
Maintain the approved supplier list, conducting regular reviews to ensure compliance.
Compile comprehensive management reports

Vehicle Controller

Manage and coordinate all vehicle bookings efficiently.
Oversee the renewal of vehicle licenses, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Monitor driver behaviour through the Netstar system and address any concerns proactively.
Schedule and manage vehicle servicing to maintain operational readiness.

Health and Safety Coordinator

Act as the appointed SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) Representative.
Conduct monthly inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Organize and execute emergency drills, ensuring readiness and adherence to protocols

Competencies:

Experience in maintaining accurate financial records.
Self-starter and committed team player.
Strong ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Clear and professional communication in emails, reports, and documentation.
