SUMMARY:
Location: Sidwell / Kempston Road area, Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, South Africa

Reporting Line: Reports jointly to the Financial Manager and the Logistics Manager

Purpose:
Our client provides industrial and commercial lighting solutions to distributors and retailers across South Africa and into Africa. As the team grows, they are looking to appoint a capable, highly organised and efficient Administrator to support both the Financial Manager and the Logistics Manager on a full-time, full-day basis.

The role spans two functions:

• Logistics: Assisting with stock management and purchasing; conducting regular stock checks to ensure stock levels are maintained; and liaising with couriers, logistics, and freighting companies regarding order tracking, tariff codes, and clearance documents.
• Finance: Reconciling debtors; handling telephonic collections and credit control; and posting journals and bank statements on Pastel

• Matric, ideally with Maths and/or Accounting.
• 2 to 4 years of related experience in accounts reconciliation and stock control/order management.
• Bilingual (English and Afrikaans).
• Proficiency in Pastel Partner or Sage Evolution is required.
  Must be a South African citizen with a valid ID and a clear criminal history.
• A valid driver's licence and own transport are advantageous.

• Highly organised and efficient, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities across finance and logistics functions.
• Comfortable working to deadlines, confident handling telephonic collections and credit control conversations, and able to communicate clearly in both English and Afrikaans.
• A reliable, hands-on team player who takes ownership of tasks from start to finish.
