POSITION INFO:
Our client is looking for a dedicated Field Technician Assistant to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will support Senior Technicians with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network and connectivity solutions. The position requires someone who is hands-on, eager to learn, and comfortable working in the field to ensure reliable service delivery to clients. If you are motivated, technically inclined, and enjoy problem-solving in a fast-paced environment, this opportunity is ideal for you.
Minimum requirements:
- Valid driver’s license (code 8 or higher)
- Reliable transport
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a technical, electrical, or IT-related role (advantageous)
- Physically fit and able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if required
Required skills:
- Basic understanding of networking, cabling, or wireless technology (training provided)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn
- Good communication skills; bilingual in English and Afrikaans preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team under supervision
Remuneration:
R 8 500 - R 9 500 Cost to Company, depending on experience
