SUMMARY:
A pristine wilderness safari lodge is seeking a knowledgeable and safety-conscious ððððð ðð¨ððð to join their team

POSITION INFO:
The ideal candidate is confident leading guests through the bush, passionate about sharing conservation knowledge, and comfortable working within a close-knit, remote lodge environment.

Core Criteria:

Minimum FGASA NQF2 qualification essential
Back-up trails qualification highly advantageous
Sound knowledge of flora, fauna, and tracking
Strong guest interaction and communication skills
Safety-focused with excellent decision-making in the field
Comfortable working and living in a remote bush setting
Reliable, professional, and a strong team player

Candidate Responsibilities:

Conduct game drives and guided walks for guests
Ensure guest safety across all field activities
Share expert knowledge of wildlife, ecology, and conservation with guests
Maintain guiding vehicles and field equipment
Build genuine rapport with guests to enhance their overall experience
Assist with general camp/lodge duties as required

On Offer:

Additional pay for Sundays and public holidays
5% provident fund contribution
8 days off per month
Live-in position with shared accommodation
