Factory Manager

POSITION INFO:

A leading FMCG manufacturing company is seeking an experienced and hands-on Factory Manager to oversee daily operations, production efficiency, and team performance in a fast-paced factory environment. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership abilities, technical knowledge, and a track record of managing teams within the FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage full factory operations, including production, quality, and dispatch
Ensure production targets and deadlines are met efficiently and cost-effectively
Monitor equipment, processes, and workflows to improve productivity
Lead, train, and supervise production staff and supervisors
Enforce health & safety and food safety compliance standards (HACCP, GMP, etc.)
Coordinate with other departments such as QA, Maintenance, Logistics, and HR
Maintain accurate reporting on production performance, stock levels, and KPIs

Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12) + relevant diploma/degree in Production Management, Engineering, or similar
Minimum 5 years'' experience in a Factory Manager or Production Manager role within FMCG
Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, quality controls, and health & safety standards
Leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and team management abilities
Willing to work extended hours and weekends when required
