Facilities Manager

SUMMARY:
My client, a leading Property Management Company, is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee and manage the overall wellbeing of the buildings within their portfolio. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong technical, compliance, and tenant service skills, ensuring all properties are safe, compliant, and fully functional at all times.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the general wellbeing, safety, and compliance of all properties in your portfolio.
• Conduct and compile annual building condition assessments.
• Execute and monitor all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and signed leases.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, National Facilities Management Strategy, OHS Act, and ISO quality standards.
• Manage contractors, service providers, and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Conduct regular property inspections and ensure all permits and OH&S requirements are in place.
• Monitor budgets, submit accurate monthly reports, and drive cost-effective solutions.
• Oversee tenant installations, repairs, and maintenance, ensuring quality and compliance.

• Minimum: Grade 12.
• Relevant tertiary education in Facilities Management, Construction, Mechanical, Technical, or Drafting.
• Project Management qualification advantageous.
• 3–5 years’ experience in Facilities Management across commercial, retail, or industrial properties.
• Strong knowledge of OHS Act, ISO 9001, Soft Services, and technical building fundamentals.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite & MDA.
