Fabricator

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Fabricator to join their growing team. They manufacture custom caravans and trailers built to last for a lift time. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong metalworking skills and a good eye for detail. As a fabricator, the successful candidate will help bring the client’s designs to life—cutting, forming, and assembling chassis, frames, and structural components for caravans and trailers. This role is on a contractual basis and based in Centurion.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Experience in metal fabrication (caravan, trailer, or automotive industry preferred)
• Ability to read and work from drawings and fabrication plans
• Competent in MIG welding (TIG a bonus)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player

• Trade qualification in fabrication or welding
• Forklift or overhead crane ticket

• Fabricate steel and aluminum components from technical drawings
• Cut, bend, drill, and assemble parts using hand and power tools
• Use MIG welding (TIG optional) to assemble structural sections
• Operate workshop equipment (presses, grinders, saws, etc.) safely
• Work closely with the production team to meet build timelines
• Inspect work to ensure it meets company quality and safety standards
